Win/win! Maybe we can dump the Wall St. leeches and get back to a populist party. After all, carried interest deductions are the single biggest factor in income inequality — and why you don’t have a job.

    The Republican want to gut any public program that helps the poor and or workers. The Republicans want to grow the wealth of the 1% by reducing or eliminating their tax burder through tax exemptions. And by pouring huge profits into the pockets of defense contractors, and those wanted to privatize our schools, prisons, public utilities, and so on. To compromise with the Republicans on any of these issues is unconscionable. We need jobs and the increased revenues that jobs bring.

    Talk is cheap but speech is priceless. These hedge fund managers give enough to both sides that this will not happen.
