Well, Obama keeps offering those tempting Corporatist right wing changes to SocSec and Medicare. At some point, even Tea Party types might recognize that having a Dem prez take down or make those two programs worse for recipients just might make the Dem Party a great big target for ads which will, truthfully, state that Dems did this to all you folks.
