Radiation at Fukushima well hits ‘record high’

Always flows freely when it comes to corporate executives:

Japanese prosecutors will likely decide again not to indict three former Tokyo Electric Power Co executives over their handling of the 2011 Fukushima nuclear disaster, media reported on Friday, but a rarely used citizen’s panel could still force an indictment.

The Tokyo District Prosecutors Office has been reinvestigating the case after a citizens’ panel ruled in July that three former Tepco executives, including then-chairman Tsunehisa Katsumata, should be indicted over their handling of the world’s worst nuclear disaster since Chernobyl in 1986.

The prosecutors are likely to finalize their decision not to issue indictments early next year because of insufficient evidence, the Yomiuri newspaper and Kyodo news agency said.

An official with the prosecutors office said no decisions had been made yet.

No consequences, ever.

  1. As long as you’re a part of the oligarchy or are doing the oligarchy’s work then you have immunity.
Whether you’re in the US, Russia, China, Israel, Saudi Arabia, or wherever. You have a get out of jail free card.
Was Bush a criminal? Absolutely. Is Obama a criminal? Certainly. Are both Clinton’s criminals? You betcha. But because they’re towing the oligarchs line they will never see a jail cell. Neither will the criminals who work(ed) for them.
Victoria Nuland, the assistant secretary of state for Europe and Eurasian affairs, and Samantha Powers, the UN ambassador are both criminals. They are doing Obama’s bidding so they will never see the inside of a prison.
    So it goes.

  2. All of that has been falling out of the atmosphere and onto the North Pacific coasts, mountains and high deserts as it is now washing up on our beaches, and it has been since the beginning. In the days immediately after the failure the Cascade Mountains recorded the highest radioactive fallout… since the open air tests of the fifties and sixties. The High Cascades and Deserts of Eastern Oregon, Southern Idaho and Western Montana repeatedly through that period experienced concentrations at or above our practical experience with nuclear detonations, and there is a direct correlation to thyroid cancers throughout the region and across three generations.

This thing is blowin’ your way.
