It was late some Saturday night when I saw an episode of a ghost show called “The Haunting of Roddy Piper.” Until that time, all those shows I’d seen seemed completely bogus — but the episode with Roddy Piper seemed quite genuine. It was powerfully poignant, I’ve never forgotten it.
