    On the Dem Now! report, someone said there’s now an Occupy Milwaukee. Oh, I do have some real hope for this movement. Kudos to all the people who worked long and hard to get this off the ground –er– on the ground in the Wall Street area.

  3. The kids want to do it themselves, so older activists are treading lightly and concentrating on parallel actions instead of trying to tell them what to do.

  5. This is anarchy!!!! Which is how it should be done. No leader at the top. Just a bunch of like-minded people gathering together to vote on doing the ‘right thing’ Peacefully. You know you can actually run a whole country that way. Anarchy works every bit a well as a democratic republic does. Maybe better. Happy Birthday to you. Now start an occupy Philadelphia movement. You ain’t getting any younger, you know?

  6. Church of dissent. Hear hear. What they’re doing is the experiential equivalent of the antithesis of the cult of personality (i.e., slavery to the hit machine). Good on them. Some people don’t have a clue as to what the occupiers are doing or why, but that’s because they’re not operating from the same vantage point. Doing something other than what the script says to do is exactly what this world needs. It will give proof that it can be done some other way. A better way.
