It would be nice if all the families refused to provide birth certificates to the AL schools.
Then every kid would get that notation.
But that’s not going to happen, even to help their local farmer neighbors — and farmers’ crops will go unharvested even more than now.
But maybe we need to realize that food doesn’t grow itself, doesn’t harvest itself. Maybe we need to realize that even farm workers deserve decent living wages.
And we need national health care — Medicare for All Improved.
