It’s a good thing Christians have Science to unearth things they want to believe in.

We all know that there was a Great Flood. But what most of us don’t know is that life expectancy before the flood was much longer then it was after the flood.
The Antediluvian Rulers reigned for long periods of time before the flood.
Alulim ruled for 28,800 years.
En-men-lu-ana for 43,200 years.
In the First Dynasty of Kish
Jusher ruled for 1200 years and
Etana for 1500 years.
Gilgamesh, a name most of us are familiar with, reigned for 126 years.
In the Biblical text Chapter 5: Adam was 930 when he died.
Seth was 912. Malaleel was 895.
Then came the Great Flood and life expectancy was dramatically shortened.
The question is what changed after the flood which shortened the lives of all of mankind?
Venus began life as a comet, having erupted from Jupiter. On one pass, before settling into it’s current orbit, it tangled with both Mars and Earth drawn in by relative gravitational forces. The resulting cataclysmic event that caused the flood also altered our atmosphere and our orbit. The earth is a little further from the sun, and Mars’ atmosphere has been dumped here. Survivors adapted, but didn’t live as long.
