Class war

Every once in a while, I make the mistake of sharing my thoughts on Disney World with a true believer (and yes, they’re out there). There is no arguing with these people, and I’m surrounded by them. “If you’d been there, you’d understand!” they say. Or they say, “Yes, but you’d really like Epcot.” A shrine to corporate America? Why would you think that?

But mostly, I’m disgusted by the sheer greed of the place. According to the New York Times, it’s getting even worse. Why stand in line with the peasants? (Personally, I say if you have the money to go to Mouse World, why not go to Paris? I hear it’s cheaper.)

  1. Hi Susie,
8I guess it’s a personal thing. I grew up in SoCal and went to Disneyland since I was probably 7(?). That was back in the E ticket era. Me and and two of my sisters actually went to Disneyland a couple of years ago and had a great time! So, I don’t particularly have a problem with Disney. I think the Universal Park is just as bad in Orlando
