Ohio 2004 had many tactics for making voting difficult for Dems. Voter roll purges, wrong paper stock provided on voter registrations, and more. It led to over 300,000 provisional ballots – that were never adjudicated nor tabulated. May have cost Kerry the election. (reportedly Kerry’s VP candidate John Edwards went ape shit that Kerry conceded so early & quickly).
My father was furious. Kerry solicited contributions to “fight back” and then folded.
