I’d hazard a guess that the fix is in at the MCM (Mainstream Corporate Media) for the Mittster.
Matt Taibbi was just on WNYC’s Leonard Lopate Show and said that Mitt doesn’t think of his lies as, well, lying. They’re merely tactics he uses to achieve his objectives, whether that’s some takeover deal, leveraged buyout, or winning an election. Matt said there’s a look or surprise in Mitt’s eyes when he’s challenged on his changing stands or statements. To Mitt, it’s just what’s necessary to win, which is what counts. And his bank accounts show he sure knows about counting money.
Matt also said Mitt thinks like “Archipelago Man”: He doesn’t see himself as a citizen of a state or country; he sees himself as one of the global super rich, who hop from home to home and country to country, seldom setting foot on ground the hoi polloi toil and live on. They put their money on nice little islands with wonderful tax advantages for these Uberwealthy Archipeligans.
Susie earlier said Mitt wants to be president so he doesn’t have to spend as much on hiding his money from taxation. Or was it so he can bring him money wherever he wants to tax free….? It is NOT TO HELP US.
