I heard this in the car yesterday, and I was just tickled. They’ve been doing a lunchtime segment where listeners are asked to send in the name of the first album they ever bought with their own money. This was tricky for me, because a friend of my mom’s did promotions for Capitol Records, and for years, I hardly ever had to pay for an album. 64-68, I’ll say.
