A friend who has evangelical Christian relatives reports that these people–(who are truly “nice” people)–absolutely loathe Kamala Harris & Joe Biden; when she asks why, they reply that Harris & Biden are traitors, & belong in prison. It isn’t that evangelical viewers of Fox News dislike Democrats, they positively, viscerally hate them. we don’t quite realize the degree of conditioning rightwing propaganda has exerted on a large portion of the population. These people do believe in literal devils & are convinced that Democrats “are” devils. Sorry to say, I can imagine them vehemently agreeing that “traitors” should be executed–they would fully support T***p if he started executing his enemies.

I used to work at Penn’s International House, and I remember how smart and stylish Iranian women were before the revolution. I gotta tell you, this woman is so fucking brave. She will be imprisoned, tortured, and possibly killed.
And this is what happens when you sleep on fascism. Almost overnight, women went from independent living and careers to women who were encased in ancient tribal wear and not permitted to drive.
