Mo’ Money Please

Thanks to those of you who have already contributed - I’m halfway almost there, but $200 $150 $100 $50 $35 $20 short. Done!
Why, that means if only two readers donated $10 each, I could stop posting this stupid plea!
As I’ve said, my car needs a new windshield and two new front axles (CV boots) to pass inspection by Dec. 31st.
If you can, please hit the PayPal button and make a donation. (And of course, there’s still Amazon for those of you who are allergic to PayPal.)
Remember, Suburban Guerrilla is your full-service blog: News, opinion, theology, Jung, photography and songs! Can you really put a price on what you find here? I think not. I think not…

Susie,
I tried clicking on the subscribe link, and got directed to Paypal, without your info displayed.
I prefer the idea of subscribing to my favorite blogs, to maybe obviate the occasional begging, er, fundraising.
Alright you fellow readers, lets get enough in there so Susie can fix her car! Or even more. lets get her enough to get one of these.
Okay, I have an SOS into my tech Sensei.
How about saying “Patronize” for the $10/month button?
Susie,
Most insurance policies will cover windshield replacement often waiving the deductable. Have you checked this out?
I’ve paypal’d a donation for your front end work, er, that is for the front end of the car work. Don’t go Kathlene Harris on us please.
Gordon, I only have bare-bones liability. Comprehensive insurance is too expensive for me. Thanks for the donation!
be sure to check your insurance policy Gordon. some insurance companies will replace your windshield if you have comprehensive insurance. but even a windshield replacement however free it is will come back and bite you in the ass because it counts as a claim and the more claims, the more your rating changes and your premiums go up. it ain’t worth it to use your insurance unless it is huge claim. i work in insurance, most people don’t know this.
Sue,
Two beater cars in South PHL cost more to insure than two upscale Mercs in an upscale part of Los Angeles.
The mech needs a part and I can find it much cheaper in Los Angeles than in PHL.
What is wrong with PA?
You’re over the top, dear (sorry, had to wait for payday.)
