They’ve probably reduced her morphine drip, and she reached out for whatever self medication was available.

Her smoking is a worry to us, and to her doctors. But to her, it is literally the least of her worries.

Smoking after a total face transplant is a freaky thing to do.

But then, she sees herself as a freak. And she’ll do whatever is available to not feel that.
