Short version: My heart is fine. Chest x-ray and liver scan, oddly enough, not so fine. Two somethings on my lung and a “hypodensity” in my liver. (In my family, we’re not so crazy about liver masses these days.)
Follow-up appointment to be scheduled next week.

Hang in there, dear. Been a lot of good vibes being sent your way over the past 24 hours.
(((((((hugs))))))
A lot of people love you and are praying for you Susie. Glad you’re home.
glad you’re out; see you saturday.
I’m glad you made it home alright, Susie! Now, do what your doctor tells you!
My world would be a sadder and less-informed space without you.
Glad to hear you didn’t have a heart problem. It’s sad when the first warning sign of heart disease is sudden death, so you got off doubly lucky, no doubt thanks to a lot of prayers and good juju. We need your voice, so stay clean and come back strong!
Bless ya!
I’m thinking of you, girl. One of the female characters in Funky Winkerbean is also sweating out lab results. http://www.kingfeatures.com/features/comics/fwinker/about.htm
Well, I’m glad it wasn’t an emergency. I hope it doesn’t turn out to be serious. I’ll keep you in my prayers.
I’m glad the heart’s ok. Keeping my fingers crossed on the lungs and liver.
(And didya meet any cute doctors?)
Why would I want a doctor? I want someone who’s home enough to wait on me hand and foot! “Can I carry that keyboard for you, dear?”
welcome home, Susie. Afraid we’re at that high-maintenance phase of life. Little bits and pieces breaking off at every turn. Everyone missed you so much - many prayers for your health.
Val
i don’t know susie, might be better to be able to hire someone to wait on you than to have a man underfoot all the time.
I’m glad you’re out, and hope the follow-ups go okay. Give me a holler if you need help on Saturday.
Geez, some people are so picky! Here’s how it works — you hit it off with Mr Cute Dr, he gets tired of the long hours and HMO-squeezed pay at the hospital, switches to dermatology, opens a clinic-spa, and give you free spa treatments. Then you get me a discount.
Since baseball season is about to open, I will now sing a rousing chorus of “You gotta have heart.”
I do like the spa idea.
Now you be sure to keep all those follow-up appointments, you hear?
Or your local fans will gather en masse and drag you there.
Good news! Very relieved to hear it. Keep getting better.
Glad you are out. Hospitals suck. I’m keeping my fingers crossed too.
great news! it’s great to have you back
Help yourself and keep yourself well. Life without reading SM at SG would be “sick”.
