Gee, I wonder how that happened:
CLEVELAND — Election officials in Cuyahoga County have replaced seven of the 13 electronic voting machines assigned to a church in suburban Cleveland because the seals were not intact. Elections director Michael Vu says the seals were in place when the machines were sent to the North Olmsted church, but they were either completely or partially removed when checked at the polling place.
Tuesday’s special election is the county’s first since a slew of problems in the May primary that led to delayed results and an outside investigation.

“… Mr. and Mrs. Noe were seen in the area at the time of the incident. Their whereabouts cannot be confirmed.”
Where is the “tough on crime” crowd when this crap happens?
mark, it’s not a crime to them, it’s defending christian values and above man’s laws.
JR, could you post a link to the source of your quote?
Thanks.
Oh, that was me being snarky. Mr. Noe was the guy involved with Coingate in Ohio if I recall (not 100% positive). He also pushed hard for Diebold machines in 2004. And his wife, Mrs. Noe, was on the committee that decided, in fact demanded, that the paperless Diebold machines be chosen over the other touch-screen machines that provided a paper trail.
The tin-foil hat conspiracy is that when they audited why Noe would invest Ohio money into rare coins, they found about $12,000,000 unaccounted for, and if you needed to, say, bribe a voting machine maker to ensure your candidate won an election, you obviously couldn’t use a personal check.
The bribery part is fiction (until proven otherwise). The coingate part is fact. And yes, Noe is a Republican.
