Sick Bay Update

Weird. I feel really light-headed, like I’m going to pass out - even when I’m sitting down.
I was thinking how bad it was for my ex-husband before he died. After he had his stem-cell transplant, he developed fever and chills that lasted six months. Even though he knew his liver was already compromised, he kept taking Tylenol because it was the only thing that helped. (He ended up dying of liver failure.)
Although I thought I was sympathetic enough at the time, this flu reminds me just how awful it is to feel like this, even for a few days. I can’t even imagine what it’s like to have it last that long.

Courage, Susie, it does come to an end. Seems like half the people I know have had this same ass-kickin’ flu this year. All literally knocked of their feet for days. Takes a couple of weeks to recover, too. So far not in this house. Perhaps it’s the lamb’s blood I painted on the door. BTW, that loud rappiing you hear is me knocking on wood.
get well soon friend!
I hate it that we’re hearing from you and it is THAT. Damn. Hope you feel better soon.
