Achievement

My So-Called Life

You don’t know what it looked like before, so you can’t really appreciate it. But I just spent the past two hours cleaning under my desk and redoing the computer wires, and I’m very pleased with myself.

    Nice job. But I am concerned about seeing how thin your power strip is. I hope you have invested in a good surge protector behind the desk, out of view.

    I recall my US Airways flight being held on the ground for 90 minutes at Philadelphia International due to lightning strikes. You should figure paying about $29-$39 for a good surge protector for your PC. Be sure to ask your network personage about it.

    I used to have one, but they’re so big and bulky and I haven’t had the money to spare. If there’s going to be a storm, I unplug the computer completely.
