“Nice” is one of the last adjectives I ever thought I’d apply to Janis Joplin.
Loved that movie.
Actually, she didn’t die from an overdose. Yes, she was drunk and high but stumbled and fell, dying from striking her head against the corner of a dresser. The Man wanted you to believe she (and Jim Morrison) died of an overdose, but she didn’t. I miss her, never-the-less.
I, as a dirty tree hugging hippie, cannot seem to ever get with this. I try. I really try.
