Seriously, how frustrating (and silly) is this, that the DEA is keeping people from getting needed medication? Medicines to treat attention deficit hyperactivity disorder are in such short supply that hundreds of patients complain daily to the Food and Drug Administration that they are unable to find a pharmacy with enough pills to fill their prescriptions. The shortages are a result of a troubled partnership between drug manufacturers and the Drug Enforcement Administration, with companies trying to maximize their profits [...]

Choosing a person to support for president is what it must be like in a women’s prison, and you’re trying to decide which guard to let fuck you — on the off chance that he might throw you the occasional contraband goodie. Hmm. We already know austerity is the right thing to do, but What do you suppose will happen? Oh, I don’t know, you don’t suppose they’ll have a housing crash, do you? The shower is likely to produce up to 100 falling stars an hour, making for a good show. People across North America who stay up late enough, [...]

Formulating US foreign policy based on the needs of Israel, which we have been doing for 60 years, has caused incalcuable misery for millions of people around the world. Apparently there are some who are now willing to tell the truth about that fact. Hopefully it’s not too late.

Reduced to a nutshell: “The question for the Obama administration, Congress and, in the end, perhaps the American public, is: Given present economic problems, should the United States supply the money to make up for reductions the Israelis are making in their own defense budget?”
A very cautious, limited critique, ignoring human rights problems and Israel’s expansionism. But, coming from the conservative WaPo, it’s a good first step nonetheless. I wonder if anyone will accuse Walter Pincus of antisemitism?

Pincus isn’t an anti-semite. He’s just a fool.
And he’s way past retirement age.
Imhotep, now, he’s an anti-semite.
