As a North Carolinian, and as much as I loathe Heath, this isn’t really unadulterated good news. He’s partially leaving congress because of the ridiculous gerrymandering our repub-controlled state leg did this time. And of course, I personally would rather have him far far away than back here in NC running for governor.
