It’s interesting how many members of the corporate media see their job as promoting intergenerational resentment. That way, we pay less attention to what’s happening at the top and how it got us here.

Blue Dog Ed Rendell came to mind while reading this. This fool, Rendell, should get a real job instead of shooting off his plutocratic mouth in support of repacious Republican vampire vanture Capitalists in the MSM. Does Rendell work for Bain Capital who he seems to love so much? Maybe his game is furthering the goals of NAFTA by outsourcing as many American jobs as possible? Either way what America doesn’t need is more Democrats like him.
It is precisely the ascendency of that Blue Dog thinking in the Democratic Party that gives me such grave concern for Social Security and Medicare after the grand compromise brought on by a second Obama term.
