3. I can see no scenario in which I wouldn’t vote for Obama, and I am substantially less than thrilled with him.

   But i am unwilling to let romney near the white house. Not gonna happen.

4. Oh, Scalia and his “originalism,” which, as he described it in that interview, seems to means that if a specific word wasn’t used in the by those 18th Century educated men, then it has no right to be covered by the Constitution.

   Wiretapping? Uh, no; they didn’t even conceive of “wires” as communications tools. But they sure knew about spies pressing their eats to walls. Holy Cow, Tony.

   But none of what he’s saying is in any way new. It’s what he has been saying since he got on the Supreme Court — and before, iirc.

5. I keep trying to weigh that against cutting Social Security and Medicare under a Democratic administration. Dems would turn on a dime and fight it if President Romney was trying to do it.
