Bullsh*t

Color me shocked!

A study released last week by Stanford scientists, which claims organic foods are no more healthy than non-organic foods, was funded by corporate agriculture and biotechnology giants, according to a new report by the Cornucopia Institute.

The thing is, even without the funding news, the results of the study don’t negate the benefits of organic food. The study shows that organic food has no more nutrients than conventionally-grown food (so what?) and less pesticide residue (which is very important). So if agribusiness intended this study as a slam against organic food (though organic food is a huge business too!), then they’ve failed to land a knockout punch.

How much do you want to bet Monsanto is behind the “study?”

Right. I sure do need studies to tell me what to think.

    Awesome.

Life’s too short to spend eatingon bad tasting victuals. Organic food just tastes better.
