The very lame flame-throwers on the Right who have proven their utter foolishness and ignorance on national tee-vee just don’t seem to understand and realize that the St. Ronnie nastalgia is so passe for these times. The fact is that over a 3rd of the eligible electorate wasn’t even born when St. Ronnie was first elected in 1980. Further, the existing republican party has absolutely no resemblence to Reagan’s party of 32 years ago. Time for all the old, aged white boys to retire—-chew some tobacco out on the range—if their party is going to survive and join the politics of the 21st century.

Are we so sure we haven’t just revived St. Ronnie in the form of Obama?

Who else will succeed in cuts to SocSec and Medicare???

I didn’t hear the entire victory speech, but the cuts I’ve heard have Obama talking –ta dah!– AUSTERITY. What else?
