Too bad; I really liked “The Hurt Locker.” But why would a movie that tries hard to give the impression that they’re making a journalistic movie veer from reality and include a strong fabricated statement for the efficacy of torture? I suppose the Pentagon “consultants” had their say.
I won’t be giving this movie my money.
Your supposition is right on. DOD public indoctrination, er affairs, requires tightly choreographed messaging, if you want their cooperation.
