I’d like to point out that raising holy hell on the internets and your calls to your elected representatives backed up the Grand Bargain train. Don’t back off now, they’ll be trying for another bite at the apple over the debt ceiling.
Remember: There are ways around the debt ceiling.
The only people who want bipartisanship are those in the “mushy middle.” “Never give up, and never give in,” is the battle cry from the far Right and from the informed Left. It’s the job of Progressives to take the Right to the mat and put them in a sleeper hold.
