    So. That just about encapsulates the current artificial, synthetic age: Oracle gahdz conjure imaginary passions (pathos) at either end of the spectrum – negative and positive.

    The test, then, for running the gauntlet between Scylla and Charybdis, is to know the difference between real and imagined. To wit, I wouldn’t bank anything on the oft repeated pattern of a) a simple conjuring of a Babinski reflex and b) a bunch of hype, flowery words, and middle school herd peer pressuring about it. You?

    Me? The simplest approach is to ignore any wisdom or advice that the erudite give and do the opposite. Most of them are laying down psychobabble anyway.
