FSM knows I loves me some Richard Thompson, from Fairport on up. There’s one album that I thought never got its due, “Strict Tempo”…RT playing acoustic instrumentals, from 1981. Gorgeous stuff, and the track I always go to is his version of Duke Ellington’s “Rockin’ In Rhythm”. It just always makes me smile. (As does Ellington’s original version.)
