Great story; very moving, but something immediately comes to mind. So for less than half the cost of one B2 bomber we could defend the planet. Or put another way, for the cost of the spare parts for one B2 bomber we could end the threat of earthly destruction that’s been with us since the beginning of time. BTW, the US currently has a fleet of 20 B2 bombers; Or yet another way, for .0001% (1 millionth of 1 percent) of the ANNUAL US federal budget. But since Our Corporate Masters have a very different agenda, people of good will are forced to pass the hat to protect humanity.
Why am I so sure that this defensive system will eventually be weaponized?
I mean, if humans are in charge, I say no. lol
