Privacy was effectively removed from American’s lives courtesy of the Communications Decency Act, and whatever that law was that had all the banks sending us letters that, while they respected us completely, they had the right to sell our personal data to whomever wanted to purchase it… All during the Clinton era…

    The privacy right we still have? To remain silent, basically….
