When I interviewed Jim Dean last week (as soon as I can find my notes, I’ll write that up), he mentioned that Dr. Dean was having hip surgery this week.
“And since my sister-in-law has a six-day-a-week medical practice she can’t leave, my mother is coming up for the convalescence,” Jim said, rolling his eyes. “I’m getting out of the way, I’m going to a motel.”
