Anybody ever see what happens to a typical shitbox sheet-rocked house in a humid climate (this means anywhere south of Maryland in the US and A.) that hasn’t been air conditioned for about a month?
Mold. And it’s not pretty.
That’s why they now make mildew-resistant sheetrock. I saw it on This Old House.
I haven’t turned on my air & I live in central Florida.
I remember when schools didn’t have A.C. & it was a luxury option on cars. Why is it a requirement now?
