The article is absolutely correct. I’ve had collectors sending me bills out of the blue, stuff that had been paid for several years ago. My mother-in-law, whose 92 years old and doesn’t shop anymore, got a dun from a collection company claiming she owed $13, 000 on a Master Card she last used in 1995. Crooks, I tell ya.
