I saw that Oprah episode, and I had the exact same response. I even got into an argument with a friend, who said I was just being a spoilsport, that I would have been just as excited. He’s wrong, I wouldn’t. The most I would have said was, “Huh, cool.” But I keep saying how “unseemly” it was to watch people practically pee themselves in ectasy over this stuff. I mean, it’s just STUFF.
