I told one former lover that the song I associated with him was “Diamonds and Rust” (Joan Baez).
A long time ago, there was a little poem in Cosmo. Sorry I don’t remember who wrote it and can’t find the snippet I cut from the magazine page but I remember the poem. (This also could have been written about the former lover.)
