I’m so happy to be part of the system that continues to distribute wealth to the top, where it’s most needed to buy the kinds of things that are advertised in Vanity Fair.

Yep, time for a flat tax – with a progressive twist.
Step1:
Take 15% off the top from everybody, no deductions, no loopholes, no exemptions: EXCEPT the first $30,000 you earn each year is tax-free. This removes the least fortunate from any tax liability, and gets 15% from the fuckers who pay nothing under the current system.
Step 2:
Take 1% wealth tax from everybody with any assets. The only exemption here would be your primary residence and a personal vehicle. Off-shore accounts, yachts, art collections, beach houses, a garage full of vintage cars, etc. would all have to be appraised and assessed a 1% wealth tax every year. This money could be used to fund single payer health care, with enough left over to begin retiring our national debt.
