Racism is so exhausting, because it’s based in what people already want to believe. I’m a little more concerned about the bankers who have looted this country, not people who took a loaf of bread to survive.
The nice polite Japanese don’t act like those colored people
I remember that within a day or two of the earthquake/tsunami, someone on the tv news mentioned that the Japanese affected were scrambling to get necessary supplies. That’s not the exact wording, but I thought at the time, that’s similar to the words used when, after Katrina, they showed videos of white people taking stuff from the stores. They needed diapers, food, water, etc. When it was black people, it was looting, pure and simple, no mention of need.
