Nuclear power and the industry that it spawned has been a scam from the very begining. That great American fascist Walt Disney helped to sell it to the unsuspecting public using slick cartoon propaganda in the 50’s. On the one hand we were all huddling under our classroom desks to escape the impact of deadly radiation and on the other Walt was telling us that nuclear power was our friend. It’s no wonder we all started getting stoned.
They said that this was impossible because the fuel had to be arranged in a precise configuration by placement of the fuel rods. With the rods melted everything was just in a pool on the floor so there was supposed to be no possibility of the nuclear reaction restarting on its own.
