  1. We watched this when my four children were in their teens…they were born in MN and have Scandinavian roots so the movie was something they could relate to. Especially since they had lived where Cream of Mushroom soup is an essential part of hot dish, which is MN for casserole, made with noodles, pasta being a word which was never uttered at our house. There was kind of a documentary quality to this movie for us.
