I think Taibbi is close, but misses the point. He says that, since the Rs have run out of demons (and the demons keep multiplying) that they’ve turned on themselves. I think they’re rounding the corner on their way to their new demon: WOMEN!
That’s right, all the women, possibly including their mothers, daughters, and sisters, and of course their wives, are demons and whores of Satan.
This turn of events does seem a bit much, and probably not a great campaign issue, but it’s just barely possible that it will jolt some drowzy dems into thinking that they really ought to, you know, say something on behalf of women and their right to be human beings and American citizens.
