Mittens must have loved NYT puff piece

In case you missed it: Jodi Kantor’s front-page piece in Sunday’s New York Times, headlined “Romney’s Faith, Silent but Deep,” was one of the most cringe-worthy puff pieces about a political candidate published in recent memory. More here.

  1. I read that when he ran for the senate in MA and for governor, Mitt had travled frequently to Utah to speak with (conspire with?) the Mormon high command and received permission to lie about gay rights –probably whatever it would take in order to be electable by the MA voters.

This is just part and parcel of what belief system. If it gets you into power, that promotes Mormon power. Therefore, anything which leads to that power is a good thing. At least a forgivable thing.

If lies are told in achieving the Mormon way of doing things, it’s all good.

It’s not just political with him, it’s religious as well. A duty.
