  3. I read Digby and his point is that chained CPI will work bracket creep on income taxes. I bet that is politically untenable. Shaft the poor and no notice is taken. A bracket creep strategy to shakedown the middle? I wonder whether that gets by the Tea Partiers, especially with the Progressives screaming.

  5. tsisageya, I realize it’s taken quite awhile for Digby to understand what Obama is up to, but she’s finally had, perhaps, the epiphany. She seems to really get it now.

    She once was a go-to blogger, someone who wrote well and clearly. Unfortunately, while she tried to avoid drinking the Obama Kook-Aid, she apparently did swallow and then became an Obama defender.

    I’d suggest reading her current output to see whether she’s changed sufficiently, and, given her writing skills, then encourage others to read her. She just might have more effect on the still-bamboozled than we who have known almost since the beginning of Obama’s run for the presidency that he was a false prophet, a Trojan horse supported by the Wall Streeters, Big Banksters, Big Money and Big Corporations.

    Obama is a through and through creature of the One Percenters, a Corporatist running dog lackey.

    He must be prevented from succeeding in achieving his destruction of the great Democratic social safety nets.

    We need all the help we can get.

    So, check out her recent work. If it passes your inspection and smell test, pass on links to her. We sure do need as many voices as possible.

  6. Just got back from reading the link, and I’m floored. My view of B0 has been horrified since 2007, but I wouldn’t have predicted this. This is Romney-calibre crap. But without the pushback the Rombot would have met.

    I have to go tie a belt around my head to keep it together.
