Shaddux certainly writes well and says all of the right things. But one has to wonder how many of those lawyers, journalists and artists in her circle of friends are black or Latino? Or how many blacks and Latinos live in the neighborhood where her big house is located? Perhaps all of her friends and neighbors are black or Latino. But the odds sure seem to be against that being the case given Shaddux’s facts.
