So a documentary about the Park Avenue uber-rich created a problem for NY’s PBS station, since David Koch sat on the board. And apparently he wasn’t the only billionaire who was upset at how unappreciated they were.

Why I stopped giving to PBS.
Just more proof that the 1% runs the show. The whole American farce. Don’t blame this on PBS. It’s a public corporation. Meaning that it relies on donations to continue operating. Private donations. Like from the billionaire Koch brothers. The Republicans refuse to properly fund PBS. So they must beg for their dollars from right wing fascists who don’t want the public to know the real them. What’s funny is why these billionaires don’t put the entire PBS operation off the air once and for all. Perhaps some backlash? Certainly not from the people who’ve already stopped contributing.
Just another example of the cowardice and lack of integrity we’ve come to expect since GW stuffed the organization with the 1%’s picked henchmen.
