These folks certainly aren’t liberals or neo-liberals like Ronald Reagan and Bill Clinton were. They are clearly Communists. Or followers of the Christ. Which are both the same thing. The very idea of sharing the wealth is pure Marxism. Then again, “if you have two coats give one away” is very Christ-like. “From each according to their ability; to each according to their need,” is most assuredly Semitic. Something any Hebrew or Arab would say. Capitalism and Liberal bad, Leftist good.
If I shared my cooking with anyone it would be considered a form of felony-grade abuse.
Kidding aside, this is an inspiring story to share with anyone close to retirement. Instead of becoming isolated and withdrawn, get out in the community and do some good.
Years ago a dear friend would knock on my door after her son was asleep. We would grab the spare fruit in our respective fridges and go to the park and leave breakfast fruit t beside sleeping homeless people.
