  1. Actually, I don’t think that’s a bad idea. Why would schools have million-dollar art collection in storage??? I’d say sell it and buy art from local artists instead. Unfortunately, that exchange won’t happen. Rather, now that that news is out, it’s most revultingly likely that the collection will be demolished by local administrators/politicians.
    Art IS important. Stimulating local artist business and elevating student’s thinking are both invaluable and mutually benefiting the entire local community.
