Years ago, my BFF took me to a fascinating off-Broadway show. The premise was that everyone has a story, and after you bought your ticket, the theater company contacted some of the audience members to interview them about their lives. (Okay, I was skeptical.) But it was absolutely spell-binding; the audience member was interviewed on-stage while members of the company acted out his/her life behind her. It sounds like this book hits some of the same notes, and I really want to read it:
