Caribou Barbie’s at it again

Uh huh. Yes, Sarah. Sharing in the costs and benefits of a federal government is exactly like slavery.

Paying taxes is just like being chained naked in a boat, taken to a foreign country where you’re sold at public auction, having your wife used as a sex toy by your master, and your children taken away to be sold.

It’s not coincidental that she used this phrase. (That’s why she assured the crowd it “wasn’t racist.”) Notice the “free stuff” theme that plays into their anger that unworthy brown people are getting a free ride. (Obamacare! Obama phones!) The white, angry, middle-aged men who make up her base are obsessed with the notion of their own oppression. It fuels their rage.

It’s the cry of a whiny toddler who doesn’t want to share.

He took my stuff!

  1. “The white, angry, middle-aged men who make up her base are obsessed with the notion of their own oppression.” Nothing would be more unjust than being made to pay contemporaneously for the wars they cheerlead.

  2. A note to Sarah: Your beef is with us socialists. But here’s the long and the short of it. Any economic system which only functions when all of the stars are in alignment is worthless. Especially one which creates a few wealthy at the top and a massive underclass. An underclass lacking enough disposable income to actually impact a political process where money is speech and corporations are people. So dear Sarah, if you’re dumb enough to keep fighting for the rights of the plutocrats, than we socialists are informed enough to keep pointing out the error of your ways. P.S. In the end you’ll lose Sarah, because most of the 99% isn’t going to buy the snake oil you’re selling.

  3. OK – let’s just briefly point out that it was that wild-eyed radical Dick Cheney, whom I believe is a member of Ms. Palin’s political party, who observed that ‘Reagan taught us that deficits don’t matter’. So there, Mama Moose.

But actually debt slavery is a serious problem. For our young people saddled with student loan debts. For those incurring massive debts for which corporations can declare bankruptcy, yet our Bankstahs-run, bought and paid for Congress, has declared that little people can never discharge such debt and must carry it around for life -especially major medical mishap debt.

  4. Our complicit media maintains this grifter’s presence in the public eye. Warble garble slavery. Blah blah socialism. I’m waiting for one of the ‘very important people’ to call this charlatan out for the lying windbag she is.
