The closer Obama gets to making a deal with Iran on its nuclear program the more harsh the criticism of him gets in the media. If you believe what they’ve been saying (the media talking heads) over the past few days you would come to the conclusion that his administaration is a miserable failure and that his presidency is over. “Something is happening here and you don’t know what it is do you mister Herzl?” Or do you?
Unless we impose sanctions on Israel for introducing a nuclear arsenal to the Middle East, we have no business doing a thing.
Speaking of imposing sanctions on Israel, we should impose some sanctions on Netanyahu. This guy’s not playing with a full deck. First he aligns himself with Saudi Arabia who, like the American neo-cons, are conducting themselves as though they’re still living in the twelfth century. Then today Netanyahu announces that he wants approval to build 20 thousand—–yes, 20,000—-new homes in the occupied West Bank. To that the Palestinians respond that he should stick any peace treaty where the sun don’t shine. So much for a two-state solution (which is a terrible idea anyway) and a peaceful Middle East.
